Our Greater Milwaukee South market encompasses the lower portion of Milwaukee County, bordering Waukesha county to the west and Racine County to the south, offering a variety of both urban and suburban communities to call home.
The market has four hospitals which provide fully integrated care.
- Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center (ASLMC) is the only hospital in Wisconsin with a 24/7 on-site heart-care team and is recognized by both the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association. U.S. News & World Report has singled out the services at ASLMC as well, making the hospital one of only 26 hospitals in the U.S. to receive “triple recognition” for stroke and cardiac patients. In addition, ASLMC features an outstanding back and spine care program, orthopedic and transplant care.
- Aurora Sinai Medical Center offers Milwaukee’s only Level II NICU along with our ACE (Acute Care for the Elderly) Unit, the Aurora Sports Medicine Institute, and a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.
- Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore, a smaller, community-based hospital offers 24-hour emergency care, ICU and surgical services, as well as wound care and behavioral health services.
- Aurora West Allis Medical Center offers a full-service women’s pavilion including a Level III NICU, fertility services, and comprehensive breast care center, along with a certified stroke center, critical care services, wound care and a full range of rehabilitation services.
