Advocate Health is seeking an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine to serve patients at the Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois, and our new clinic in Westmont, just a few miles away.
Position highlights
- Full-time orthopedic sports medicine opportunity
- Surgeries will be performed at the Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, a 285-bed Level I acute care community hospital in Downers Grove
- You will see patients at the medical office building on the hospital campus as well as our new clinic in Westmont, scheduled to open late fall 2025
- Orthopedic immediate care clinic on-site in Westmont and will be covered by an experienced PA
- You will enjoy good variety and a robust practice with patients referred from physicians on-site and within the surrounding communities
- Excellent staff with APCs, athletic trainers and RNs
- All equipment and services on site including lab, x-ray, ultrasound, and rehab services
- Great suburban location, great schools
- Dynamic orthopedic service line and medical group leadership in place who understand what is important to you and will help establish and maintain a supportive and robust practice environment
- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature

- Starting salary range: $594,225 - $594,225
- Sign-on bonus eligible
Training and/or experience required
- Fellowship training from an accredited orthopedic sports medicine program
- Strong desire to build and grow a solid orthopedic practice
