Advocate Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Palliative Care Physician to join our physician-led medical group in Summit, Wisconsin. In this role, you will provide invaluable inpatient consultation services to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of care and improve patient outcomes. 
  • Maintain a primarily inpatient weekday consultation schedule with dedicated workspace
  • Collaborate closely with a well-established Palliative Care Team, ensuring comprehensive patient care from day one
  • Schedule
    • Monday – Friday inpatient consultation 
    • Shared workload with 2 APCs
  • Call
    • Shared after hours call Monday – Sunday, average 1:9
    • Option to participate in weekend rounding at St. Luke’s Medical Center or Zilber Family Hospice (residential hospice facility)
  • Compensation
    • Salaried position from $263,150 to $263,150 annually plus sign on bonus
  • Teaching
    • Support a Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship Program
  • Participate in lectures and have the opportunity to work with learners if interested
  • Locations
    • Primary: Aurora Medical Center Summit, 24/7 Full Service, 117-bed Community Hospital 
    • Additional Location: Aurora Medical Center Washington County, 24/7 full-service 71-bed Community Hospital  
  • EPIC EMR
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
  • Experience a diverse and inclusive environment ensuring safe and equitable care for all patients
 
Training and/or experience required 
  • Completion of an accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship
  • BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  • Wisconsin License or ability to obtain licensure
