Advocate Health is seeking a Pediatric Endocrinology Division Director to join our physician-led medical group and serve its patients in the Chicagoland area. This is a dedicated team of pediatric endocrinologists who serve the needs of children in the 9-county metropolitan Chicago market. The program has both inpatient and outpatient components. The group is hard working, extremely collegial, and experienced at working with a multidisciplinary team. We are seeking a flexible, experienced Pediatric Endocrinologist with leadership experience to join our team!
 
Job details
  • Split time between administrative responsibilities and providing clinical care for pediatric endocrinology patients
  • Role will be 0.8 Clinical and 0.2 Administrative
  • Position will be responsible for 3 locations including ACH - Park Ridge; ACH - Oak Lawn; AMG - Wheaton/Naperville
  • Supervision of 11 physicians and 2 APCs in pediatric endocrinology
  • Oversight of all 3 locations including satellite clinics, program development, and quality improvement
  • Shared call and inpatient responsibilities and outpatient clinic responsibilities
  • We are a major provider of pediatric endocrinology services in Chicagoland and have a large referral base
  • EPIC EMR 
 
About Advocate Children’s Hospital
Advocate Children's Hospital Park Ridge is home to a 19 bed PICU, and 50+ bed NICU. The pediatric endocrinology service serves the consultative needs of these units as well as a 56-bed general inpatient unit. There are dedicated hospitalists and intensivists in house 24/7.
 
Advocate Children’s Oak Lawn is home to a 16 bed Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Unit, a 24 bed PICU and a 60+ bed NICU.
There are dedicated hospitalists and intensivists in house 24/7.
