The Stroke team at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is actively recruiting an additional physician for expansion of our dedicated Stroke service.

Located in Park Ridge near O’Hare Airport, Advocate Lutheran General is a 600+ bed teaching hospital with a state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot neurological ICU equipped with nine private patient rooms.
As part of the Advocate Brain & Spine Institute at Lutheran General Hospital you will join our physicians in providing the highest level of neurological care. Using the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies, we have the capabilities to treat the most complex Stroke cases and we offer some of the most experienced specialists in the region, and in some cases, the nation.
All candidates must be BE/BC in general neurology with fellowship training in vascular neurology. Additionally, the physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of fellow neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and neuroradiologists to provide cutting edge neurological care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.
As part of our team you will:
- Provide dedicated inpatient Stroke coverage
- Participate in Telestroke coverage
- Provide out patient follow up in our Stroke clinic
- Work with Stroke trained nurses and Advanced Practice Providers
- Participate in Stroke related clinical trials
- Provide Stroke education and teaching to rotating medical students and residents
