Advocate Health is seeking a board certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in hand surgery to serve its patients at the Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin with offices at our brand new clinic in South Elgin.

- Full-time orthopedic hand surgeon
- You will perform surgery at Advocate Sherman Hospital, a 255-bed Level II acute care community hospital, with new clinic space in South Elgin that opened early in 2024
- This is a start up practice with plans to include sports medicine, hand, adult reconstruction and general. You will join one partner now and others as the practice evolves and expands.
- Excellent hospital call schedule of 1:12; practice call will be 1:2 to start, with less frequency as the group expands; call center is in place with APCs and RNs to assist with calls
- MA, PSR and dedicate PA
- Will do the full breadth of general orthopedic cases in addition to hand cases; hand practice will grow as group becomes established
- Dynamic orthopedic service line and medical group leadership in place who understand what is important to you and will help establish and maintain a supportive and robust practice environment
- EPIC EMR
Training and/or experience required
- Board certification/board eligible
- Fellowship training in orthopedic hand surgery
- Strong desire to build and grow a solid orthopedic practice
- Supportive team player
