Join our well-established Palliative Care Team, where you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families from day one. In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of Palliative Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs), Social Workers, and Chaplains, creating a supportive and enriching work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Provide high-quality palliative care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring optimal comfort and quality of life.
- Program Development: Contribute to the expansion and enhancement of our outpatient palliative care services, including supporting the growth of our outpatient Cancer Center.
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to foster a holistic approach to patient care.
- Flexible Schedule:
- Enjoy a balanced work-life with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, shared weeknight pager call (average 1:6)
- Option to participate in weekend rounding at St. Luke’s Medical Center or Zilber Hospice for additional income potential.
- Compensation: Salaried position from $263,150 to $263,150 annually plus sign on bonus
- Diverse Practice: Experience a mix of inpatient (40%) and outpatient cancer clinic (60%) responsibilities, ensuring a well-rounded practice.

Training and/or experience required
- Completion of an accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship
- BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Wisconsin License or ability to obtain licensure
