Job Description
We are seeking two Full Time Pediatric Nephrologist to join our team based at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL.

Advocate Children’s Oak Lawn is home to a 16 bed Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Unit, a 24 bed PICU and a 60+ bed NICU. The pediatric nephrology service serves the consultative needs of these units as well as a 50 bed general inpatient unit. There are dedicated hospitalists and intensivists in house 24/7. 

Join our dedicated team of pediatric nephrologists who serve the needs of children in the 9-county metropolitan Chicago market. The group is hard working and extremely collegial!
 
Position Highlights:
  • Join a group of 3 pediatric nephrologists
  • Clinical locations in Oak Lawn, Tinley Park, and Downers Grove
  • Strong support staff of Nurses & Medical Assistants
  • On-site laboratory and radiology in the clinics 
  • Inpatient & outpatient responsibilities
  • All pediatric sub-specialists on-site
  • Q5 weekend call schedule with the ACH Park Ridge nephrology team
  • Pediatric Residents, Fellows (PICU, NICU, Cardiology and Hospital Medicine) & medical students
  • Peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, CRRT and plasmapheresis
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
  • Experience a diverse and inclusive environment ensuring safe and equitable care for all patients
  • Salary $240,490 - $240,490, plus $25K sign-on bonus
