Job Description

Advocate Health is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join our physician-led medical group and serve its patients at Aurora West Allis Medical Center inWest Allis, Wisconsin. Pulmonary responsibilities will also include Aurora Medical Center-Summit. 
 
Position highlights 
  • 1.0 FTE (0.5 FTE pulmonary, 0.5 FTE critical care)  
  • Pulmonary call schedule – on average 1:5  
  • 2 weeks of pulmonary clinic and 7 ICU shifts per month 
  • 16-bed MICU 24/7 in-house intensivist coverage  
  • Up to 50% ICU night shifts 
  • Sleep medicine is optional   
  • EPIC EMR 
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line 
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature

  • Pulmonary compensation is a two-year salary floor, prorated to FTE 
  • Pulmonary salary range $413,338 - $413,338 
  • Critical care hourly range $234.07 - $292.58 
  • Sign-on bonus  
 
Training and/or experience required  
  • Board eligible/board certified pulmonary  
  • Board eligible/board certified critical care 
  • Board eligible/board certified sleep medicine – required to read sleep studies

About Aurora West Allis Medical Center  
Aurora West Allis Medical Center is a 350-bed facility with 1,088 physicians in 79 specialties and is located just 15 minutes from anywhere in Metro Milwaukee. This facility has state-of-the-art ICU monitoring and care. A five-story facility dedicated to fertility and reproductive support, cosmetic surgery, prenatal and postpartum care with OB emergency room and Level III NICU, maternal fetal medicine, urogynecology, pelvic floor disorders and more. Over 500 robotic surgeries are performed annually in urology, gynecology and general surgery. This is a nationally accredited breast center with a multidisciplinary team and emotional support from diagnosis to survivorship.
