Advocate Health is seeking a skilled, board certified cardiothoracic surgeon to join our physician-led medical group and serve patients at the Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

  • Full time cardiothoracic surgeon
  • Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is a 938-bed STS 3 star quaternary care facility in Milwaukee, providing innovative care to patients from across the state and across the country
  • You will join an exceptional team of experienced cardiac and thoracic surgeons and will appreciate their vast breadth of knowledge and expertise
  • Outstanding variety of cases include minimally invasive mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve repair/replacement, aortic surgery including arch work with circulatory arrest, TAVR, TEVAR, LVAD insertion and heart transplantation 
  • Our team does approximately 2000 pump and pump standby cases annually and is the region's largest provider of complex cardiothoracic surgery; approximately 30-50 heart transplants per year, and 600+ trans catheter valve replacements
  • Robust practice in structural heart, aortic surgery, and heart failure
  • Excellent staff support includes APCs and RNs
  • EPIC EMR
Training and/or experience required 
  • Must have completed an accredited cardiothoracic surgery program
  • Facile in all areas of adult cardiac surgery
  • Special consideration given to those with experience and expertise in heart transplantation as well as arrhythmia surgery or total arterial revascularization/ off pump CABG

  • Starting salary range: $886,649 - $886,649
  • Sign-on bonus eligible
