- Full time cardiothoracic surgeon
- Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is a 938-bed STS 3 star quaternary care facility in Milwaukee, providing innovative care to patients from across the state and across the country
- You will join an exceptional team of experienced cardiac and thoracic surgeons and will appreciate their vast breadth of knowledge and expertise
- Outstanding variety of cases include minimally invasive mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve repair/replacement, aortic surgery including arch work with circulatory arrest, TAVR, TEVAR, LVAD insertion and heart transplantation
- Our team does approximately 2000 pump and pump standby cases annually and is the region's largest provider of complex cardiothoracic surgery; approximately 30-50 heart transplants per year, and 600+ trans catheter valve replacements
- Robust practice in structural heart, aortic surgery, and heart failure
- Excellent staff support includes APCs and RNs
- EPIC EMR
Training and/or experience required
- Must have completed an accredited cardiothoracic surgery program
- Facile in all areas of adult cardiac surgery
- Special consideration given to those with experience and expertise in heart transplantation as well as arrhythmia surgery or total arterial revascularization/ off pump CABG
