Advocate Health is actively recruiting Vascular Neurologists to join our physician-led medical group and serve its patients in full time Tele-Stroke positions. Coverage will initially support our Wisconsin Hospitals and will eventually include all 25 Hospitals across Illinois and Wisconsin as our Tele-Stroke team expands. Position Highlights:
- Work from home in 20 eligible states
- Compensation is shift based with anticipated annual compensation of $388,380 - $388,380. Additional shifts will be available beyond full time requirements.
- Preference is for candidates interested in a full time position which will consist of 12 Shifts per month (12 hr) including nights, and weekends

- Experience a diverse and inclusive environment ensuring safe and equitable care for all patients
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- On camera response within 5 minutes
- Timely Tele-stroke consultation for patients with signs/symptoms consistent with acute stroke
- Assessment of patient: review of neuroimmaging to make recommendation on IV therapies, interventions or transfer based on acuity
- Communication with patient and family members about stroke symptoms and treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teammates in delivery of care
- Consideration and support of possible stroke research enrollment for appropriate patients
- Attendance at Monthly Tele-stroke Quality Committee meetings and participation in Quality Improvement initiatives
Training and/or Experience Required:
- Will have fellowship training in Vascular Neurology, Neurocritical care or Endovascular Neurologist
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Neurology
- Positions for our dedicated stroke service are also available at Christ Medical Center and Lutheran General in suburban Chicago, IL and Aurora St. Luke's in Milwaukee, WI
