Vascular Neurologist for Busy Comprehensive Stroke Program 

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is a flagship quaternary and tertiary hospital located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Join one of the nations largest and most respected healthy systems and experience what it means to live well.  Advocate Health is actively recruiting Vascular Neurologists to join our physician-led medical group and expanding Stroke program to serve it's patients at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center.  St. Luke's is -a 900+ bed hospital and comprehensive stroke center that receives referrals from 14 additional Aurora facilities in Wisconsin.  

This is an ideal opportunity to begin or further a career in Vascular Neurology with an expanding service line and highly supportive leadership.

Position highlights
  • Includes dedicated inpatient Stroke coverage
  • Provide outpatient follow up in our stroke clinic
  • Participate in tele-stroke program
  • Opportunity for participation in clinical trials or research if desired
  • Multiple service line CME conferences offered annually
  • Work with inpatient and outpatient Advance Practice Clinicians
  • Multidisciplinary support includes 27 Bed Neuro ICU, Neuro Intensivists, NeuroEndovascular and Neurosurgery
  • EPIC EMR
  • Market competitive compensation in the range of $353,282-$353,282 plus opportunity for incentives and up to $125,000 in Student Loan Forgiveness and sign on bonus
  • We are a 501c3 organization and positions qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness 
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature

Training and/or experience required 
  • All candidates must be BE/BC in general neurology with fellowship training in vascular neurology from ACGME accredited programs
  • Experienced physicians and new grads are welcome to apply
