In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of Palliative Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs), Social Workers, and Chaplains, creating a supportive and enriching work environment.

- Straight Salary $231,355 - $231,355 with a generous sign-on bonus

- Enjoy a balanced work-life with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM – 5 PM
- Diverse Practice:
- Primarily inpatient, with participation in outpatient clinic , offering a well-rounded practice
- Collaborative Environment:
- Engage with multidisciplinary team to foster a holistic understanding of approach to patient care
- Comprehensive Patient Care :
- Deliver high-quality Palliative Medicine, focusing on patient comfort and quality of life
- Participation in a Large Hospice and Home-Based palliative medicine program
- Teaching:
- Share your expertise and mentor others in a supportive setting
- Program Development:
- Contribute to the expansion and enhancement of our outpatient palliative medicine services, including participation in program development, research and committees.
- EPIC EMR
- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
- Experience a diverse and inclusive environment ensuring safe and equitable care for all patients
Training and/or experience required
- Completion of an accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship
- BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Illinois License or ability to obtain licensure
